Alliance House Drop In Center

The Alliance House Drop In Center (DIC) is a consumer-run program for community integration that serves individuals diagnosed with mental illness . The DIC provides self help, educational, recreational and socialization services designed to enable our clients to be successful in all aspects of their lives.

Daily workshops provide consumers with such life skills as coping with stress, money management, building self-esteem, and symptom management. Emphasis is placed on developing autonomy and improving decision making skills through peer group support.

This program is funded in part by the Capital Area Human Services District and Capital Area United Way and is the model program for the state of Louisiana.
